Summer Student Labourers – Full-time (seasonal)

 

Job description:

Looking for a hands-on summer job where you can stay active by working outdoors?

We’re hiring Summer Student Asphalt Labourers to join our crew for the 2026 season in Brockville, ON. This is a great opportunity for college and university students looking to build real-world experience while working as part of a strong, supportive team.

 

What You’ll Do

• Assist with asphalt paving, sealing, and driveway preparation

• Help with crack repair, site clean-up, and material handling

• Work alongside a crew on residential and commercial projects

• Perform traffic control/flagging duties (training provided)

• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract

• Flagging/Traffic Control training (provided)

• Previous experience is a bonus—but not required

• Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team

• Reliable and punctual
